Salt Spring Island Fire Protection District - 2016 Approved Operating Budget

At its meeting on October 26, 2015 the Board of Trustees approved a Fire Protection Taxation Bylaw 2016 to fund its 2016 Operating and Small Capital Items Budget. The budget draws on Operating Reserves carried over from earlier years in order to avoid raising property taxes above their 2015 level.

There has been some account re-coding for the 2016 fiscal year budget, so comparison of individual detailed lines with 2015 can be problematic. Please referred to the linked document Material Changes (2015 figures in brackets).
